The worm's skin oozes silver and glows light blue in the darkness of the ruins. The survivors are equally overcome by revulsion and intrigue, as the worm writhes and gurgles on the landing above them. In addition to the normal 1-2 result, play Settlement Event **Skull Eater** next settlement phase instead of drawing from the deck. Horrified as they are by the sight of it, the close they get, the more overcome they are by pity for this bizzare, yet helpless, creature. The others waiting below are nauseated at first when the survivor picks up the worm and holds it in their arms as if it were their own offspring. However, it doesn't take long for the spell to take root in them after the worm is carried back down the steps. Nobody can say why, but everyone agrees the worm is important.
