**Well-Fed:** If the survivors earned at least 1 CC this year, add +1 to the Arc Birth roll result.
**Grand Feast:** If the survivors earned at least 3 CC this year, the settlement has a **Grand Feast**.

| 4 - 5 | A newborn is brought kicking and screaming into the world. Gain +1 population. If the settlement has a **Grand Feast**, the newborn begins life with +1 lumi.<br><br>**Conditional**: If the settlement innovated [[Bed]], the newborn gains +1 strength. |
| 6 - 8 | Gain +1 population. the parents decide to spend time alone with the newborn. None of them participate in any endeavours this year. the experience is wonderful, and the parents gain +10 survival. If the settlement has a **Grand Feast**, the newborn's hunger shifts from food to knowledge! The newborn gains a knowledge from one of their parents. |
| 9 - 11 | A pair of healthy newborns! The parents beam with pride. Gain +2 population. If the settlement has a **Grand Feast**, the newborns eat, sleep, play and learn together. Name the newborns immediately, then draw 5 knowledge cards/ Each child gain a knowledge from among those card (they cannot both gain the same knowledge).<br><br>**Conditional:** If the roll result is a 10 *and* if the settlement has innovated [[Hovel]], their humble abode grants a sense of safety, allowing the children to flourish in the darkness. Both children gain +1 lumi. |
